We're taking mechanobiology from the lab to the market. Backed by the European Innovation Council, the NEOMAG project is our commitment to giving researchers like you robust, ready-to-use tools.
EIC Transition supports projects that have already proven a scientific concept and are ready to mature it into a credible technology and a viable business. That is exactly where 60Nd stands: the science behind magneto-mechanical stimulation is established, and NEOMAG is the work of turning it into a robust, manufacturable instrument that any lab can adopt.
What the project sets out to do
The project runs on two parallel tracks. On the technology side, we are validating the NeoMag® platform across real research workflows (hardware reliability, smart-substrate reproducibility and software usability) and hardening it for routine use. On the market side, we are refining the value proposition with early partners in pharma, dermatology and academic research, and preparing the path to commercial launch.
Why it matters
Preclinical research still leans on static models that ignore the mechanical forces living tissues experience every day. By making dynamic, mechanically realistic assays practical and affordable, NEOMAG aims to raise the biological relevance of preclinical work and, in doing so, reduce reliance on animal testing.
Public funding lets us take the responsible, thorough path from a scientific result to a product labs can trust.
We will be sharing results and milestones from the project here as they arrive. If your lab would like to be part of the validation work, get in touch.
